Description
“Beasts” accompanies the exhibition by Gerard Byrne at Secession in 2019. It contains a text by the artist and a series of black-and-white silver gelatin as well as color photographs taken in the Biologiska Museet in Stockholm. The museum was conceived to house a building-size 360-degree diorama depicting a panoramic sweep of the Nordic wilderness and closed in 2017.
